We grow over 60 species
of trees and shrubs for reforestation,
windbreaks, wildlife habitat, restoration,
and Christmas tree
production.
I am pleased to introduce myself as the new Director of the Center for Forest Nursery and Seedling Research at the University of Idaho. As only the fourth director since the nursery began operation in 1909, I take pride in the facilities and reputation that are presented to me.
Our center, nursery, and program was established through the significant efforts of Idaho's nursery growers, seedling users, and citizens, and we take pride in providing research findings, teaching opportunities, and quality seedlings to you, our stakeholders.
I look forward to working with you as we move forward - check back often as I will keep you up to date on changes.
